About Spooky Thistle

Illustration of Thistle, our ghost mascot

Spooky Thistle is an independent online shop for gothic home décor, witchy kitchenware, tarot and oracle decks, altar tools, candles, bar soaps, and stickers. We're based in Georgia, USA, and every order is packed and shipped from our workshop here.

We started Spooky Thistle for people who want their homes to feel a little more haunted, a little more magical, and a lot more like them. Many of our pieces come from small independent makers, like Gravesco Pottery and Cellar Door Bath Supply Co.; others are gothic décor from established suppliers. Our product pages share materials, sizes, and maker credits wherever we have them.

What we sell

Altar & ritual tools: candle holders, incense burners, smudge bundles, brooms, and a scrying mirror
Tarot & oracle decks: decks for divination and shadow work
Kitchen & drinkware: handmade pottery mugs and tumblers, slate coasters, and a ouija board trivet
Bath & body: small-batch bar soaps in vampire, witch, and haunted-woods scents
Home décor, books & stickers: ravens, occult wall art, scented candles, poetry, and vinyl stickers

Meet Thistle, our resident ghost

Thistle Blackwood is our mascot, a fictional ghost who haunts this website. In her story, she lived in a widow's walk cottage on a New England bluff in the 1800s and never quite left the habit of watching the horizon. These days she drifts through the site, dimming the lights and judging the ravens.

She's a character we made up. She doesn't pick our products, pack your orders, or answer your emails, partly because her hands go right through the tape gun. The people behind Spooky Thistle are real, and they're in Georgia.
